School Project By 15 Years Old Robert Fota

We would like to come and visit your class and talk to the students and give them little information about the ocean.  We will bring  with us something interesting from the ocean to get their attention and teach them about it.  For the visit please contact Al Marzouqi (570)337-9069 or reefnest@reefnest.com

Working Together, One Goal, Education First

Loyalsock High School Reef Education Library (the biggest in the area)

Welcome To Reefnest.  This club is dedicated to educate students in our local schools about marine life and global reefs.  It is very important that people learn to conserve and protect the natural reefs. We create an appreciation and  awareness of the marine environment.  We rely on clubs and individuals for donations and support.  Many individuals have contributed with equipments, corals frags, money,  and time.  We currently maintain aquariums in a few  local schools.  Our goal is to expand our mission of reef education to other schools and to have students involved.

What Others Say About Our Projects !

"Thanks for all you do! Getting the kids involved is very important, not only to the hobby, but to get them more aware of the ocean/reef environment.
I wish I was closer & more able to help hands-on.
I'll start looking through my "used" stuff."
         "Bill King"

"very nice great pics
great cause
good karma for you and everyone involved"

            "RC Name woowoodengy"

"real nice work looks like there will be lots of new reef addicts down the road"

             Dane And Dona

"Beautiful job on those setups... I'd have gone to school everyday just to see them."

                  " RC Name thebimbo"

"Very nice !!! You are doing a great service teaching the next generation about the reefs. Keep up the good work, and I am happy to help.

                  "Dr. Sanjay Joshi)

"Great looking tank. My tank has been up for years and I don't think it looks nearly as good as these school projects do. I really wish someone would have put a nice one in my school when I was there."

                  "RC Name yellowtruck75"

"Mo, that's an incredible investment in work AND $ ! I hope the kids appreciate it

Looks fantastic, Mo. Great work! If the sight of that little piece of ocean staring them in the face when they enter the library doesn't stir some interest in the hobby, or even the processes involved, something VERY wrong."

                     " Larry J. Geguzis "

WOW! Now that is one heck of a project! I would love to help out but you are 3 hours away! I am digging through the ole 65g and picking stuff to donate to this beast.  I can't wait to see it up and running!

                "RC Name Nuhtty"

"We feel strongly that the future of this hobby/trade/life style is sitting in the classrooms.  We'd like to see more groups like your sprouting up, all over the US. Keep up the good work."

Nice Words From Mark (szwab) Cora President For Our Visit To Them September 2006

Thanks

just want to say thanks for doing the demos at the swap. I just wish I could have gotten away to check them out more. the scraper mod peaked my curiosity. I just couldn't break away to check it out.
It did look like quite a few people came away with new found knowledge and information.

Thanks again

Mark
